QuestPump Helper

The free QuestPump Helper runs on the computer you play World of Warcraft on. It keeps your QuestPump progress in the game's folder and pairs your phone, so your watch can count down each pump with you.

The add-on plays without it, but the helper is strongly recommended.

The helper's first release comes before the launch of World of Warcraft: Forever on 4 November 2026; these links work from then on.

On a Mac, open the disk image and drag QuestPump Helper into Applications. Or install it with a package manager:

"Windows protected your PC"

Windows may show this when you open the installer. It does so for every new publisher for the first weeks, however the file is signed. Click More info, check that the publisher reads Pluxia GmbH, then click Run anyway.

What it does

• It reads the small row of coloured squares QuestPump shows in the corner of the game window, to know when you turn in a quest and start a pump.
• It keeps your progress in its own folder among the game's add-ons, so the add-on finds it again at the next login.
• It pairs your phone and your watch with a code you scan from its window.
• It reads a Bluetooth heart-rate strap, only when you turn it on.

What it never does

• It never presses a key or clicks in the game.
• It never reads the game's memory and never changes the game's own files.
• It never saves or sends a picture of your screen.
• It never talks to the game's servers.

Your phone and your computer only

The helper talks to your paired phone and watch over your own home network. Every message is sealed with a key from the code your phone scanned, and the helper turns away devices from outside your network. It sends nothing to us: no account, no telemetry, no analytics. Its one connection to the internet is the check for updates, and it installs an update only after checking our signature on it.
